The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, renders technical assistance to the Radiologist, and maintains and cares for all ultrasound equipment. This role involves preparing patients, operating and adjusting ultrasound equipment, ensuring patient safety, communicating with patients and staff, and analyzing sonographic findings to assist physicians in diagnosis and patient management.
