About The Position

Performs all the essential functions of the Registered Sonographer. Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. We are hiring for multiple openings of Ultrasound Technologist positions in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage, Alaska! Currently available schedules: Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week. Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day shift, hours as needed. Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation.

Nice To Haves

  • 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation.
