Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS) – Outpatient Specialty Practice Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday NurSelect is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting opportunity with a well-established outpatient specialty practice in Central Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for an Ultrasound Technologist who enjoys working in a collaborative clinical environment while providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and exceptional patient care. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Ultrasound Technology required
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technician program required
  • Current RDMS certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS preferred
  • Previous Ultrasound Technologist experience preferred
  • New graduates will be considered
  • Experience with EMR systems and PACS imaging systems preferred
  • Outpatient or specialty clinic imaging
  • Procedural or surgical support
  • EMR workflow experience
  • Strong patient interaction and education skills
  • High-volume clinical environments

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and capture high-quality sonographic images
  • Identify anatomical and pathological findings and communicate preliminary observations to physicians
  • Explain procedures and assist patients throughout the imaging process
  • Monitor image quality and adjust imaging as necessary
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records within EMR systems
  • Transfer and maintain imaging records within PACS systems
  • Assist physicians and clinical teams during procedures when needed
  • Perform patient care duties including vital signs, oxygen administration, and emergency response as appropriate
  • Maintain and clean sonographic equipment and assist with equipment management
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards
