Performs general diagnostic ultrasound examinations, operating Ultrasound equipment to produce scans. This role involves preparing neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients for the technical component of scans and treatments of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information. The position also includes providing support and training assistance, functioning in all aspects of the role, and assisting the Lead and Department in maintaining equipment and QA/QC programs to meet regulatory and accreditation standards. The Ultrasound Technologist II also serves as a department liaison.
