About The Position
Performs general diagnostic ultrasound examinations, preparing neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients for scans. Operates Ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic scans. Provides support and training assistance, functioning in all aspects of the position. Assists the Lead and Department in maintaining equipment and QA/QC programs to meet regulatory and accreditation standards. Serves as a department liaison.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or AMA approved program in Ultrasonography or Associate's degree.
- ARDMS-American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- RVT-Registered Vascular Technologist
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

- 3-5 years of experience
- 12 months hospital setting experience
