About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. The role involves supporting physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accurate imaging results.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Strong knowledge of sonography principles and clinical practices
• Hands-on experience in general ultrasound procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• ARDMS Certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)

Nice To Haves

• Additional certifications such as RDMS, RVT, or other specialty credentials
• Experience across multiple ultrasound specialties (e.g., vascular, OB/GYN)

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and small parts studies
• Prepare patients and clearly explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain clear and diagnostic-quality images
• Review and document imaging results and assist physicians with preliminary observations
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of ultrasound equipment; report any issues
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance standards
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams for coordinated patient care
