About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technician to join the healthcare team. This role performs diagnostic abdominal, vascular, small parts, and pelvic sonography on neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The position is sign-on bonus eligible.

Shift: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday through Friday, with hours of 3:00 PM–9:00 PM on Monday and Tuesday and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Ultrasound or an AMA-accredited school of ultrasound.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Registered or registry-eligible by the ARDMS.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, hospital staff, and physicians.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a full range of body motion to pass the basic FIT test for the position, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Good physical and mental fitness to meet the demands of patients, families, physicians, and the call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic abdominal, vascular, small parts, and pelvic sonography on patients across age groups to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
