About The Position

Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for a full-time Ultrasound Technician at our Siouxland Community Health - Women's Clinic. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will have solid experience and advanced knowledge in ultrasound procedures and equipment operation. This role involves working closely with radiologists and other medical providers, ensuring the technical quality of images, and performing all necessary ultrasound procedures throughout the clinic. Requirements

• Associate degree from accredited ultrasound program
• CAAHEP certification and IA Permit to Practice required
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years ultrasound experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate and adjust ultrasound equipment using proper techniques.
• Perform all ultrasound procedures throughout the clinic.
• Work closely with the radiologist and other licensed medical providers presenting images and data for interpretation.
• Responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.
