About The Position
Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for an Ultrasound Technician 1. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, located at the Siouxland Community Health - Women's Clinic. The successful candidate will possess solid experience and advanced knowledge in ultrasound procedures.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited ultrasound program
- CAAHEP certification and IA Permit to Practice required
- Basic computer and data entry skills
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years ultrasound experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain, operate and adjust ultrasound equipment using proper techniques.
- Perform all ultrasound procedures throughout the clinic.
- Work closely with the radiologist and other licensed medical providers presenting images and data for interpretation.
- Responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.
