About The Position
Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment while supporting radiology operations. This role involves operating ultrasound equipment, preparing and positioning patients, selecting appropriate imaging settings, capturing images, documenting findings, and ensuring image quality. The technician will also maintain exam room readiness, manage supplies, upload images to PACS, manage records, and enter patient data into CPRS/Radiology systems.
Requirements
- Medical Instrument Technician (MIT) designation
- Minimum 2 years ultrasound/sonography experience
- BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- ARDMS certification
- PACS experience
