About The Position
West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a US Tech to be out in the field! This is a 1099 position with a pay rate of $27-$32 per patient. The US Tech will be responsible for performing ultrasound on patients in their homes one day a week. Additional responsibilities include materials management, scribing, and performing chart checks to gather data for financial analysis related to expansion and growth.
Requirements
- Valid US Tech Certification
- Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Strong awareness of medical terminology
- Strong desire for patient care
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Operating equipment
- Perform ultrasound on wound patients
- Image interpretation
- Patient interaction
- Documentation and reporting
- Order medical supplies
- Scribe for respective doctors
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients
- Scribe for skin sweeps
- Make Initial Assessment calls
