About The Position
West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a US Tech to be out in the field, driving within the Dallas area. The US Tech will be responsible for performing ultrasounds on patients in their homes, materials management, scribing, and performing chart checks. This role is also responsible for obtaining data/metrics to facilitate financial analysis for expansion and growth.
Requirements
- Valid US Tech Certification
- Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Strong awareness of medical terminology
- Strong desire for patient care
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Operating equipment
- Perform ultrasound on wound patients
- Image interpretation
- Patient interaction
- Documentation and reporting
- Order medical supplies
- Scribe for respective doctors
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients
- Scribe for skin sweeps
- Make Initial Assessment calls
Benefits
- Guaranteed base pay of $960-$1,080 per week
- Base is calculated at $32-$36/patient visit for a minimum of 6 patients per day
- $32-$36 per additional patient visit for any visits beyond the daily base
