About The Position
West Coast Wound and Skin Care is hiring a US Tech to work in the field, driving within the Dallas area. The position involves performing ultrasounds for patients in their homes one day a week, along with materials management, scribing, chart checks, and collecting data and metrics to support financial analysis of hiring for expansion and growth.
Requirements
- Valid US Tech certification.
- Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong awareness of medical terminology.
- Strong desire to provide patient care.
- Willingness to drive within the Dallas area.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of clinical management or medical experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate ultrasound equipment.
- Perform ultrasounds on wound patients.
- Interpret images.
- Interact with patients.
- Complete documentation and reporting.
- Order medical supplies.
- Scribe for doctors.
- Prepare patients for procedures.
- Perform chart checks to evaluate stalled wounds for existing patients.
- Scribe for skin sweeps.
- Make initial assessment calls.
- Obtain data and metrics to support financial analysis of hiring for expansion and growth.
