About The Position
West Coast Wound and Skin Care is hiring a US Tech to work in the field, traveling within the Tampa area. The technician performs ultrasounds for patients in their homes one day a week and also handles materials management, scribing, chart checks, and collecting data and metrics to support financial analysis related to hiring, expansion, and growth. This is a part-time 1099 position scheduled for two days a week. Pay is $32 per patient visit. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is paid after the first three months of employment.
Requirements
- Valid US Tech certification.
- Willingness to drive within the Tampa area.
- Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong awareness of medical terminology.
- Strong desire for patient care.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of clinical management or medical experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate ultrasound equipment.
- Perform ultrasounds on wound patients.
- Interpret images.
- Interact with patients.
- Complete documentation and reporting.
- Order medical supplies.
- Scribe for the respective doctors.
- Prepare patients for procedures.
- Perform chart checks to evaluate stalled wounds for existing patients.
- Scribe for skin sweeps.
- Make initial assessment calls.
- Obtain data and metrics to support financial analysis of hiring, expansion, and growth.
