About The Position
St. Francis Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare institution in Los Angeles that provides diagnostic and treatment services across specialties including cardiovascular care, surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and emergency and trauma care. The hospital also offers education and outreach programs and is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, STEMI Receiving Center, ED Approved for Pediatrics, Geriatric ED, Level III Neonatal ICU, and Level II Trauma Center. The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound examinations and demonstrates competency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. The role positions patients and equipment, produces appropriate recordings, and processes and transmits images to PACS. This is a full-time evening-shift position.
Requirements
- RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region, required within 90 days of hire and maintained.
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program, or current certification as identified above and graduation within 90 days of hire.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
- Proficient computer skills.

- Previous experience preferred.
