About The Position
Ultrasound Technician / Sonographer – FULL-TIME WITH BENEFITS – TUES thru SAT - no nights - PART TIME & PER DIEM HOURS ALSO AVAILABLE Gain valuable experience through meaningful interactions with patients in the inspiring field of abortion care. Full-Time Hours available Tues-Saturday at Cherry Hill Women’s Center, a state licensed ambulatory surgical center that has delivered excellence in abortion and reproductive healthcare for over 40 years, always at the forefront of best practices in our field. Our team members are committed to advocating and caring for women seeking legal, safe, compassionate abortion care, in addition to assistance for adoption services and prenatal care.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent patient care skills
- Up-to-date ultrasonography training and experience
- Basic computer skills (EHR experience a plus!)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Some patient care experience is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in one or more preferred
- Bilingual candidates preferred, but not required
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the examination and treatment of patients by operating ultrasound equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes including gestational sizing, and assistance during procedures
- Cross-train into other roles as appropriate such as Medical Assistant roles throughout The Center performing pre/post procedure vitals, basic lab work, procedure room setup, transporting patients
- Assisting in the education of practitioners in abortion care
- Contributing to various research programs
