Ultrasonographer Per Diem
About The Position
US Fertility is hiring a per diem Ultrasonographer for Fertility Centers of Illinois in River North, Illinois. The schedule varies as needed, and compensation is $36 to $46 per hour, commensurate with experience. The role supports patients and care teams within a physician-led fertility organization, providing ultrasound examinations and contributing to a compassionate, high-quality patient experience. The Ultrasonographer performs detailed examinations of anatomy and pathology, makes necessary measurements and calculations, documents results in electronic medical records, establishes rapport with patients, and explains procedures. The role follows physician protocols and requires effective operation of the equipment used within its scope.
Requirements
- Complete formal ultrasound training at an AMA-approved school.
- Meet the requirements for registry by ARDMS.
- Understand and follow physician protocols for procedures.
- Effectively operate all equipment used within the scope of the job.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in women’s health is strongly preferred.
