About The Position

Performs ultrasound examinations efficiently and accurately, including abdominal, aorta, renal, pelvic with transvaginal, thyroid, breast, testicular, lower-extremity venous, and soft-tissue exams. Requires a good knowledge of human anatomy and ultrasound physics. Maintains confidentiality and follows FHCP policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Attendance at an AMA- or CAHEP-accredited ultrasound school.
• Abdominal and/or GYN registration by the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
• Knowledge of office skills.
• Current CPR/BLS certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Clear written and oral English communication skills.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation for required travel throughout the facilities.
• Good knowledge of human anatomy and ultrasound physics.
