As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences for enterprise and mission-critical applications. This role involves leading user research, designing workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems. You will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders in Agile environments, provide technical mentorship, drive UX process improvements, promote design standardization, and ensure compliance with accessibility and security requirements.

Requirements

Bachelors required along with 8 years' experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design systems.
Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and enterprise application experience.
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma or similar platforms.
Knowledge of Human-Centered Design (HCD), usability testing, and accessibility standards.
Experience working within Agile development environments.
Portfolio of work samples.
Active Top Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or related field.
Experience with the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) or other enterprise design systems.
Knowledge of Section 508, WCAG accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.
Experience supporting federal, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments.
Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Certifications in UX, accessibility, Human-Centered Design, or related disciplines.
Experience utilizing AI throughout the design process and AI code-generation tools to rapidly prototype, build, and deploy production-ready designs.
