About The Position

Acclaim Technical Services (ATS) is seeking a UI/UX Designer with TS/SCI w/ Poly to join their team in Chantilly, VA. The role involves applying UI/UX design principles, human-centered design, and user research to create intuitive digital experiences. The designer will collaborate with developers and stakeholders throughout the design process, from research and wireframing to prototyping and implementation.

Requirements

Demonstrated professional experience with user research methods, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma and Axure.
Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and design thinking.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals to communicate design requirements to development teams.
Experience with design systems and style guides to keep digital assets consistent.
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

Responsibilities

Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and behaviors.
Create user personas, user flows, and wireframes to inform design decisions.
Develop a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the customer's digital assets.
Design UI elements such as navigation menus, search boxes, and calls to action (CTAs) to improve the user experience.
Create high-fidelity prototypes and test designs to validate the user experience.
Work with development teams, stakeholders, and customer representatives to make sure design requirements are met.
Provide guidance on applying UX research methods and testing activities.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
