About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced UI/UX Designer with a strong background in Services Experience Research. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a preference for demonstrated technical learning and work in consumer electronics. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer research, focusing on qualitative techniques such as research design, recruiting, interviewing, online platform usage, analysis, video usage, and reporting. Experience in Marketing Functions within the B2B Technology Space is a plus. The position is located at 6625 Excellence Way, Plano, TX. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience doing consumer research, with an emphasis on qualitative techniques including: research design, recruiting, interviewing, online platform usage, analysis, video usage, reporting
  • Proficiency using online survey tools, examples are: dscout, Pollfish and Qualtrics
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, with demonstrated technical learning and work in consumer electronics preferred
  • Excellent communicator in interviewing and soliciting verbal input.
  • Experience writing documents for influence.
  • Solid numerical and data analysis skills
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in related field, with demonstrated technical aptitude.
  • 5+ years of experience is required

Nice To Haves

  • Korean Bilingual Highly Preferred
  • Experience in Marketing Functions - B2B Technology Space is Plus
  • MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in the consumer electronics industry is preferred
  • Bilingual in English/Korean is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute primary consumer research using qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Own the analysis and reporting delivery of research findings and insights
  • Support the product research team by leading in the collaboration of defining research objectives and research projects
  • Synthesize primary, secondary and public research sources to deliver research findings
  • Collaborate closely with partners (external vendors) and peers to generate effective research plans to ensure outputs and deliverables are internally actionable
  • Compare related competitor applications and products for strengths, weaknesses, user perspective and actionable insights
  • Evaluate new product concepts for usability issues while trying new features or assessing UX design documents
