About The Position

We are looking for a product-minded UI/UX Product Experience Designer to support the evolution of Program Management Office (PMO) managed applications and experiences, and related PMO tools for 40 hour per week with one of our premier clients. This role will help translate complex program-management workflows into clear, accessible, and usable product experiences for stakeholders across the product development ecosystem. The Program Management Office (PMO) enables the organization with scalable processes, trusted program data, and purpose-built internal tools that help teams plan, manage, and execute program development across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate applies strong interaction design judgment, design principles, accessibility standards, and practical product thinking to improve existing user experiences, define new experience patterns, and support delivery of intuitive internal tools.

Requirements

  • 7 - 10 years of experience as a UI/UX designer, product designer, interaction designer, or related role in a software or enterprise tools environment.
  • Experience designing and delivering user experiences in Figma, including wireframes, prototypes, interaction flows, and design specifications.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design practices, interaction design principles, and accessibility standards.
  • Ability to translate complex workflows, data, and business processes into simple, usable product experiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain design rationale to program management, engineering, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support design implementation and iteration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and common collaboration tools.
  • Portfolio review required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing internal enterprise tools, workflow applications, dashboards, program-management systems, or data-rich business applications.
  • Familiarity with enterprise accessibility practices, and reusable design systems.
  • Experience supporting product development, engineering, hardware/software program teams, or operational business processes.
  • Familiarity with front-end development concepts or visual coding languages such as JavaScript, Python, or related technologies.
  • Experience conducting or supporting user research, usability feedback sessions, stakeholder interviews, or design validation activities.
  • Experience designing configurable systems, role-based experiences, governance workflows, or scaled enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex PMO and program-management workflows into clear, intuitive, and accessible user experiences.
  • Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs for new features and improvements to existing PMO-managed tools.
  • Support design exploration through low- and high-fidelity prototypes that help stakeholders evaluate concepts and make informed decisions.
  • Participate in design reviews, design sprints, and collaborative working sessions with PMO program managers, engineering partners, and business stakeholders.
  • Synthesize stakeholder feedback, user insights, and workflow observations into practical experience recommendations.
  • Apply design principles, accessibility standards, reusable component patterns, and internal design guidance where applicable.
  • Partner with engineering and PMO team members to clarify design intent, support implementation readiness, and refine designs based on technical constraints.
  • Contribute to enterprise-level experiences that account for configurability, scalability, governance needs, and cross-team usability.
  • Help maintain design artifacts, experience documentation, UI specifications, and reusable patterns for PMO-managed applications.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce user friction, improve readability, and strengthen consistency across PMO tools.
  • Operate in a self-directed, organized manner with attention to detail, craft quality, and timely follow-through.
