About The Position

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced UI/UX Applications Developer with strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, C#, and .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on software development experience building modern enterprise applications, RESTful APIs, and scalable front-end solutions within Agile development environments. This role requires a highly collaborative professional capable of working independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional technical teams.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong expertise with: Angular TypeScript Angular CLI Front-end application architecture
Strong proficiency in: C# .NET Framework .NET Core
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms
Hands-on experience with: Entity Framework / EF Core SQL databases T-SQL
Experience with source control tools: Git TFS
Familiarity with: Azure DevOps (ADO) CI/CD pipelines Work item tracking Deployment automation
Experience with software testing methodologies and QA processes
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with: SSIS packages SSRS reports
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies and priorities
Understanding of DevOps principles and release management practices

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modern UI/UX applications using: Angular TypeScript Angular CLI
Develop and maintain enterprise applications using: C# .NET Framework .NET Core
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
Implement client-side authentication and authorization mechanisms
Develop scalable front-end architectures and reusable UI components
Work with SQL databases and T-SQL queries for application support
Utilize Entity Framework / EF Core for database access and ORM functionality
Participate in CI/CD and deployment automation processes using Azure DevOps
Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors for API integrations
Implement application logging and monitoring solutions (NLog or similar)
Participate in: Unit Testing Smoke Testing Regression Testing System Testing Integration Testing
Support Agile/Scrum development activities including sprint planning and collaboration sessions
