About The Position

This role focuses on migrating frontend applications from JSP to Angular and developing backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices. The position also involves supporting JDK upgrades, dependency updates, and compatibility fixes. A key responsibility is analyzing and converting stored procedures/SQL business logic into Java microservices. The role requires deploying and supporting services on AWS EKS/ECS, and setting up monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerts. Collaboration with architects, DevOps, QA, and business teams in an Agile environment is essential.

Requirements

• Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices
• Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• JSP to Angular migration experience
• JDK upgrade / Java migration experience
• SQL, Stored Procedures, relational databases
• AWS EKS, ECS, Kubernetes, Docker
• CloudWatch, Datadog
• Git, Maven / Gradle, Jenkins / CI/CD
• JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine / Karma
• Agile / Scrum
• Strong hands-on experience in Java full stack development.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

• Experience in legacy modernization programs
• Helm, API Gateway, AWS IAM, Secrets Manager
• Kafka / JMS / RabbitMQ
• OAuth2, JWT, SAML

Responsibilities
