About The Position

Thyssen Mining Construction of Canada is a recognized leader in the underground
mine construction industry. We are currently seeking experienced U/G Haul Truck
operators for a project located in Northwestern Ontario. This is a FI/FO
position operating on a 2 weeks in 2 weeks out schedule. The following are the
position we are currently hiring for, so don't pass up this opportunity to

We are seeking motivated and safety‑oriented Underground Haul Truck Operators to
join our mining operations team in Ontario. The successful candidates will be
responsible for transporting ore and waste rock from production areas to
designated dumping locations while maintaining high safety and operational
standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment or haul trucks is an asset
• Ability to work in an underground environment
• Strong commitment to safety and situational awareness
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass pre‑employment medical, drug/alcohol testing, and fitness assessment

Responsibilities

• Operate underground haul trucks safely and efficiently
• Navigate declines, ramps, and narrow underground roadways
• Communicate with loaders, dispatch, and supervisors
• Conduct pre‑shift inspections and report equipment issues
• Follow all site safety procedures and traffic rules
• Assist with general underground duties as required
