About The Position

Responsible for assisting the crew with tasks needed to perform underground service installation and repair projects. Work may include hand digging, gathering and assembling materials at multiple locations, installing or repairing conduits, cables, pedestals, and handholes, and operating digging equipment. This position is not qualified to perform energized work without supervision.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of underground electric distribution service work experience.
• Familiarity with underground utility construction, including trenching, shoring, pipe laying, and cable pulling.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to fluently read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Must follow all safe work practices.
• Must attend certification courses if not already certified.
• Valid driver's license in good standing throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel statewide.
• Commercial driver's license (CDL).
