UG Operator 1, 2, or 3
About The Position
The UG Operator 1, 2, or 3 position at the East Boulder Mine is responsible for the safe delivery of muck distribution and/or supplies through the safe and proper operation of rail or rubber-tired equipment. This role requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment for safe and productive muck handling and to perform other duties as assigned. The operator will be responsible for operating underground haulage equipment, clearing ore and waste passes using approved blasting techniques, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas. The position requires an understanding of and commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations, the ability to work without direct supervision, and to prioritize, understand, and follow instructions.
Requirements
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to communicate and work well with fellow workers in a team environment.
- Understanding of and strong commitment to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Valid Driver's License.
Nice To Haves
- Previous underground experience.
- Previous experience with handling, storing, and transporting explosives.
- Previous equipment operating experience.
