About The Position
UDNF is a state-of-the-art cleanroom with 8,500 square feet divided into Class 100 and Class 1000 spaces located in the Harker ISE Lab. This facility is utilized by researchers from UD and other institutions on a pay-per-use basis. Maintaining the standards required for successful research involves regular cleaning and attention to detail by the Cleanroom Porter. Requirements
- Self-motivated individual with attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
- Punctuality.
- Ability to follow multi-step directions and adhere to established protocols.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a cleanroom is not necessary, as thorough training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining the cleanroom appearance which involves mopping and vacuuming and wiping horizontal and vertical surfaces to maintain a white-glove standard of cleanliness.
- Emptying trash.
- Maintaining clean tacky mats.
- Monitoring and restocking items routinely used in the cleanroom.
- Assisting customers entering the cleanroom with the gowning protocol.
- Performing other tasks as assigned.
