UDNF Cleanroom Porter, UD Nanofabrication Facility
About The Position
UDNF is a state-of-the-art cleanroom with 8,500 square feet divided into Class 100 and Class 1000 spaces located in the Harker ISE Lab. This facility is utilized by researchers from UD and other institutions on a pay-per-use basis. Maintaining the standards required for successful research involves regular cleaning and attention to detail by the Cleanroom Porter. The Cleanroom Porter is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanroom appearance which involves mopping and vacuuming and wiping horizontal and vertical surfaces to maintain a white-glove standard of cleanliness. Other daily duties include emptying trash, maintaining clean tacky mats, and monitoring and restocking items routinely used in the cleanroom. The Cleanroom Porter will also assist customers entering the cleanroom with the gowning protocol and performed other tasks as assigned.
