About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position for UND students. The role involves providing ground and flight training for AVIT 238 in sUAS, along with maintenance and repair of sUAS training equipment, and maintaining inventory records. The instructor will observe sUAS flight training activities and is expected to conduct student training independently.

Requirements

• Interpersonal/Human relationship skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to conduct student training without the need for direct oversight
• Knowledge of sUAS operations
• Requires remote pilot certificate and completion of AVIT 238
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
• Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and complete required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Nice To Haves

• CFI preferred.
• Knowledge of (both fixed wing and rotorcraft preferred)
