About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. The role involves providing ground and flight training for AVIT 238 in sUAS, maintaining and repairing sUAS training equipment, maintaining inventory records, and observing sUAS flight training activities.

Requirements

• Interpersonal/Human relationship skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to conduct student training without the need for direct oversight
• Knowledge of sUAS operations
• Requires remote pilot certificate and completion of AVIT 238
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Nice To Haves

• CFI preferred.
• Knowledge of (both fixed wing and rotorcraft preferred.
