About The Position

We are seeking a skilled TypeScript/JavaScript Developer with strong experience in Windows environments. The role involves building production-grade applications, writing clean and testable code, and deploying them within a Windows ecosystem. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of software development, from build to support, and will collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams. This is a 6-month contract position with a hybrid work arrangement in NY.

Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
• Evidence of building production-grade applications.
• Experience writing clean, testable code.
• Experience deploying applications in a Windows environment.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, IIS, or Windows-based runtime environments.
• Comfortable working in Windows-based development and deployment workflows.
• Hands-on experience with deployment pipelines.
• Experience using CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with common JS/TS frameworks (Node.js, React, etc.).
• Exposure to cloud platforms configured for Windows workloads (e.g., Azure, Windows VMs).
• Experience working end-to-end: build → test → deploy → support.
• Experience shipping software to production.
• Experience in troubleshooting deployment or release issues.
• Collaboration with infra / DevOps / Ops teams.
