About The Position

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring for a TWIC Security Professional - Armed position for a refinery construction/hard hat zone in Cameron, LA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in various industries by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. The position is 100% outdoors and requires working in direct elements.

Requirements

• Must have active TWIC card in hand, no receipts.
• 21 years of age or older
• Mandatory firearm training and experience
• Experience working in direct elements (position is 100% outdoors)
• 5 years of experience in Security or TWIC environment or minimum of 1 year armed security, military or law enforcement
• Experience in security surveillance (a must)
• Ability to pass background and drug screen
• Unexpired Drivers License and Social Security Card (no copies)
• TWIC Card in hand
• Reliable transportation (Location is remote)
• Able to work 12-hour shifts
• Can stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Can work outdoors as site is 100% outdoors
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
