Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, screen personnel and visitors, and support a smooth flow of daily operations. You will remain visible, conduct routine observations, and provide strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, and/or deliveries entering and exiting the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols.
  • Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document irregularities, prohibited items, and/or policy violations for follow-up.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns to site contacts and/or leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, dock areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting conditions that could impact daily operations.
