About The Position

Your mission, roles and responsibilities The TVO Director will lead all Division activities related to VA/VE, productivity, that will fuel the Division profitability. Responsibilities: Plan and lead VAVE for Division. Coordinate VAVE workshops and idea creation. Lead the development, governance and execution of the business case and bringing the idea into reality. Participate and challenge workshops planned by CBUs to achieve division TVO target Will be responsible to create the budget and budget attainment in regards to TVO. This includes identifying the resources needed. Acts as a liaison between the internal team and customer, ensuring robust communication between the two. Bring the Value Management mindset to the team Support execution, escalate roadblocks as appropriate to Customer Account Director and VP when required Identify and enforce top TVO priorities for the division performance, report progress Supports and/or leads special projects identified by the Account/division Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site Commitment to the highest ethical standards and adherence to: Faurecia Group Code of Ethics Faurecia Group Code of Management Faurecia Group Environmental Policy Faurecia Group Quality Policy All other duties as assigned by the company

Requirements

  • Intermediate to proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and PowerPoint), is required
  • Experience in automotive Program Management, Manufacturing, Design and Development
  • Ability to communicate decisions both written and orally with credibility and confidence. To work in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to interact effectively with all hierarchic levels is necessary
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts
  • Agility to manage several initiatives concurrently
  • Intermediate to proficient English required; Additional languages are preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering/design discipline is required; Master’s degree strongly preferred. Potential for other degrees to be considered combined with job experiences
  • Minimum 5-10 years of proven experience in design and development, manufacturing and/or quality within an industrial environment is required.
