About The Position

This is a paid freelance, remote position for Collider, the #1 entertainment website publishing up-to-the-minute news on blockbuster movies, TV shows, video games, comic books, music, and other forms of entertainment. Collider, a worldwide leader, operates at a rapid pace and seeks experienced and passionate contributors to create original high-quality content in a timely manner. Requirements

• Educational background in journalism or a related field
• 2 years of experience in producing entertainment and related content
• In-depth familiarity with and fierce passion for the entertainment industry, especially television
• Broad knowledge TV history, genres, platforms, and trends
• Experience with SEO practices

Nice To Haves

• Experience with a custom CMS, preferred

Responsibilities

• Work under tight deadlines and submit tasks on time
• Have a working knowledge of TV (current series, classics, cult favorites, and streaming hits)
• Able to maintain a contracted freelance schedule
• Reporting to various Editors and implementing feedback efficiently
• Adherence to a style guide
