About The Position
This is a Tutor position at Alamo Elementary, working 35 hours per week for the 26-27 school year on a 1-year contract. The closing date for applications is August 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. This posting is to notify employees of vacancies and may not be open to the public due to internal candidates and the bidding process.
Requirements
- Must be “highly qualified” as defined by ESSA (a minimum of 60 college credits or successfully passing the ETS Paraprofessional Test)
Nice To Haves
- A degree in elementary education
- Experience working with children in an instructional setting
Responsibilities
- Provide tutoring for individual and/or small groups of students in a pull out or inclusion program
- Assist in progress monitoring as instructed by the teacher, record the data and provide the data to the classroom teacher or supervisor
- Assist the classroom teachers in the organization of materials and lessons
