About The Position

Huntington Learning Center is looking for talented educators and subject-matter experts who enjoy helping students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and reach their goals. After paid training in our proven methods, you’ll spend your time teaching and making a meaningful difference in students’ lives. The Opportunity: Teach students in grades 5–12 in a 1-to-1 or small-group setting of up to 4 students. Provide individualized instruction in classroom skills, subject tutoring, and test preparation. Work with students in Math, Reading, Writing, English, Science, and/or SAT/ACT preparation. Use our provided curriculum—no lesson plans to create. Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development. Work in a collaborative, fun, and rewarding environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
Strong subject knowledge in one or more of the following: Reading, Writing, English, Math, or Science.

Nice To Haves

Teaching/tutoring experience with grades 5–12 preferred.
Teaching certification/license and SAT/ACT experience are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities
