About The Position
The Computer Information Science Tutor supports students with technology-related issues connected to their classes, mathematical problem solving, and critical-thinking skills. The tutor explains CIS concepts, guides students toward solutions to homework assignments, and assists with exam preparation. The position requires adherence to the Academic Impropriety Policy and includes other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of CM245 and MA206 with a grade of B or higher.
- Hourly background check required.

Responsibilities
- Assist students with technological issues related to classes, mathematical problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Explain and expand on CIS concepts.
- Guide students to solutions of homework assignments.
- Aid students in exam preparations.

- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
