About The Position

Futurewhiz is a B Corp with a mission to empower every child to grow by shaping the future of personalized learning for the next generation. As a tutor at StudyGo, your main tasks will be to provide tutoring or guidance to secondary school students. This is done digitally (from home) and one-on-one or in small groups. You will also answer questions via chat and moderate the forum. Futurewhiz builds digital learning products that help children and young people grow. With brands like Squla and StudyGo, we support hundreds of thousands of students annually in their development. As a B Corp, we combine commercial growth with social impact. Squla helps over half a million primary school students learn daily through games, quizzes, and interactive exercises aligned with Dutch education. StudyGo (formerly WRTS) is the learning platform for secondary school students, used by over 650,000 students annually to prepare for tests and exams. From learning vocabulary and completing assignments to chatting with tutors and participating in group lessons, we offer a complete toolset to help students succeed. Tutoring is a major part of the role and is evolving with new forms of guidance, including testing 1-on-1 coaching lessons focused on learning how to learn rather than just knowledge transfer. This requires flexibility and comfort in a constantly changing role.

Requirements

• University student (mathematics/biology/geography/French)
• Excellent written and oral command of the Dutch language
• Familiar with mathematics/biology/geography or willing to learn
• Demonstrable ability to explain complex concepts simply and adapt them to different levels
• Declaration of conduct (this will be requested for you)
• A safe and reliable workplace, the work is fully remote
• Only candidates with a valid work permit for the Netherlands/EU are eligible for this position.

• Experience with moderating online communities or forums

Responsibilities

• Provides tutoring to students (individually or in small groups)
• Explains complex material clearly and step-by-step
• Helps students not only with answers but with insight and thought processes
• Answers content-related questions via chat
• Monitors the forum, in addition to AI moderation
• Ensures the quality of explanations and guidance on the platform
