About The Position
The primary purpose of the temporary part-time Tutor - Student Support Services is to tutor eligible students in need of remedial work in Math or Math and English.
Requirements
- Associate degree required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to adjust tutoring methods based on individual student needs.
- Ability to work with students at different learning paces and provide support as needed.
- Ability to encourage students to actively participate and reach their learning goals.
Nice To Haves
- Qualified to tutor in both Math and English.
Responsibilities
- Tutor students in Math or Math and English.
- Assist in maintaining administrative records and statistics for tutor usage.
- Other duties as assigned.
