About The Position
The Spanish Tutor demonstrates strong abilities in Spanish language skills and is able to explain language concepts to others. Proficiency at the Advanced level (300-level) may be required, but most tutoring will be for students in the 101/102 classes.
Requirements
- Must have taken Spanish language classes(preferably Intermediate Spanish, and/or Spanish grammar Review) before or be a native speaker
- Must be a Washburn University Student
- Must demonstrate strong abilities in Spanish language skills
- Be able to explain language concepts to others
- Punctual
- Effective communication skills (written and oral)
Responsibilities
- Help students develop oral and written concepts in Spanish
- Aid students with homework and exam prep
- Perform additional job related duties as assigned
