Spanish Tutor
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Tutor to provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students of all skill levels, both online and in person. The ideal candidate will assist students with homework, test preparation, and utilize effective teaching strategies to foster engagement and motivation. This role involves monitoring student progress, providing feedback through session reports, and collaborating with teachers to ensure alignment with classroom curriculum. A safe and supportive learning environment is paramount, and the ability to reliably commute between clients is essential.
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish
- At least 2 years of tutoring experience
- Previous experience working with students, preferably with all ages
- Must be able to commute within the Broward county, FL area. Applicants who are not available for in person work will not be considered
- Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
Nice To Haves
- Special consideration will be given to candidates who are capable of teaching or tutoring other subjects including other foreign languages, English, social studies and history, mathematics, and science
