About The Position

Tutors will provide Bilingual (Spanish) support to grades 2nd through 5th in ELA and Math. The program will run three days a week from 8 am to 2:20 pm. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by closing the opportunity gap and helping urban students reach their full potential. It also provides professional growth through sharpening teaching skills and gaining real classroom experience, as well as a supportive community dedicated to education equity and social justice. As an Education Champion, you'll provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents exam prep. You’ll collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive academically and personally. Requirements

• Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Available to work 10-35 hours per week at assigned school(s).
• Spanish speaking proficiency.
