Tutor - SAT/ACT - Part-Time, In-Person

About The Position

StudyPoint, a national leader in one-on-one tutoring, is seeking SAT and ACT tutors to work with students in their homes and online. Tutors will be engaging and energetic, utilize and customize the proven curriculum to improve student outcomes, be responsive and communicate effectively with students, parents, and employees, create a positive, safe learning environment, and have fun while helping students achieve their goals.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong academic background
• Confidence tutoring ALL sections of the SAT/ACT including both verbal and math sections (Math sections include Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and some Trigonometry)
• Reliable car access to travel to students' homes
• Availability for 6 or more hours per week, primarily during Monday-Friday 3pm-9pm and Saturday/Sunday 9am-9pm.

• Ability to cover towns including Detroit, Grosse Pointe, Sterling Heights, Utica, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Farmington Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Rochester, Novi, Milford, Dearborn, Woodhaven, Canton, Ann Arbor.
