About The Position

TPAPT (The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring) is hiring an SAT/ACT Tutor Trainer (Train the Trainer) to mentor, and elevate new and existing educators in modern test preparation methodologies. This is a remote, US-based contract position with a preference for EST alignment. The role involves designing and delivering comprehensive training programs, workshops, and coaching sessions for aspiring and experienced SAT and ACT tutors. Key responsibilities include instructing educators on proprietary TPAPT test preparation strategies, content breakdowns, and diagnostic evaluation tactics. The trainer will also mentor and coach tutors by observing mock sessions, providing feedback, and tracking professional growth. Collaboration with academic leads to refine instructional guides and ensuring trained tutors meet high standards for student score improvement and clear communication are also crucial aspects of this role.

Requirements

• Earned Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5 or more years of professional experience as an SAT or ACT tutor, with a documented track record of high student score improvements.
• Past experience delivering educator workshops, professional development, or peer coaching.
• Exceptionally clear communicator with strong online presentation and virtual facilitation skills (Zoom/Google Classroom).
• US-based and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs, workshops, and coaching sessions for aspiring and experienced SAT and ACT tutors.
• Instruct educators on proprietary TPAPT test preparation strategies, content breakdowns, and diagnostic evaluation tactics.
• Observe mock tutoring sessions, provide constructive feedback, and track the professional growth of new cohort members.
• Collaborate with academic leads to refine instructional guides based on current exam trends.
• Ensure all trained tutors meet high standards for student score improvement and clear communication.
