About The Position

The Academic Coach supports high school students in STEM subjects, including advanced coursework such as AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics. ACT, SAT, and ISEE test-prep experience is preferred. Sessions are one-on-one in private offices at the facility. The role offers recurring weekly sessions within the coach’s preferred hours, paid training and shadowing with experienced coaches, and a supportive, collaborative team environment. The employer handles scheduling and provides teaching resources and guidance.

Requirements

• Excel at explaining academic content in a clear, engaging way.
• Enjoy building relationships and helping students gain confidence.
• Be currently attending or have graduated from a two- or four-year university or college.
• Be available at least 15 hours per week, including at least 4 hours on Sundays.
• Support students in STEM subjects, including AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics.

Nice To Haves

• ACT, SAT, or ISEE test-prep experience.
