About The Position

The Turret Truck Operator is responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining the turret truck for the shipping department, maintaining freezer inventory, and assisting with shipping product. The role operates in a product freezer and involves rotating product according to the first-in, first-out policy, staging orders, and keeping equipment and work areas clean and organized. The position requires 1–2 years of warehouse or turret truck experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and forklift certification. Travel is less than 10%.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience or turret truck experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certified.
• Be in good general physical condition and able to stand for prolonged periods, bend, turn, twist, climb, and lift at least 60 pounds without restriction.
• Work well with others, have good social and communication skills, and be willing to take direction.

Responsibilities

• Operate the turret truck in the product freezer.
• Rotate product according to the first-in, first-out policy.
• Red-wrap product placed on Quality Assurance hold.
• Stage International orders and California orders.
• Keep the turret truck charged and clean.
• Maintain an organized and clean Hot Room and charging area.
• Complete daily forklift and turret inspection sheets.
• Assist in keeping the freezer clean and organized.
• Check product inventory levels.
• Assist with shipping out product.
