About The Position

This position involves operating a Turret machine to pick, pull, and move whole pallets of products while adhering to all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role also includes placing materials for staging and putting them away in a warehouse environment. This is an excellent entry-level position with opportunities for career advancement within Lineage.

Requirements

Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs (weight may be more dependent upon facility).
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.

Responsibilities

Pick, pull, and move whole pallets of products while operating a Turret machine.
Follow all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Place materials to be staged and put away in a warehouse environment.
Write the order number, name of the receiver, and quantity of case on every order, box, pallet, packages and bins pulled.
Report bad tickets immediately to the appropriate leader.
Pull all orders in a timely manner.
Assist in running freight and locating product once orders are pulled.
Report broken pallets to the supervisor.
Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station.
Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
