About The Position

The Turret Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of turret trucks in a narrow-aisle warehouse environment. This role performs precision handling of palletized and case-pick inventory, executes put-away and retrieval at elevated heights, supports order fulfillment, and maintains accurate inventory records while adhering to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
Knowledge of turret forklift operation and racking safety.
Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
Ability to work at heights and in confined aisles.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse work.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Nice To Haves

Prior turret forklift experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Operate turret forklifts safely in narrow-aisle, high-bay racking environments.
Store, retrieve, replenish, and relocate inventory using WMS-directed tasks.
Perform elevated picking and put-away with attention to accuracy and damage prevention.
Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report safety or mechanical issues.
Use RF scanners to complete real-time inventory transactions.
Support cycle counts, audits, and inventory verification activities.
Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards.
Poses no direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself, of others, or to property. Defined as a significant risk of substantial harm that cannot be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by reasonable accommodation.
Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.
Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.
